David Lockwood (Director)
David trained in Exeter at Cygnet Training Theatre, graduating in 2006. David directed productions at Cygnet included Alcestis, The Lover and Close of Play. He also wrote and directed a modernised version of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Matchgirl. As assistant director, David has worked for the Basingstoke Haymarket (The Borrowers), and for Dorset Corset (Far From The Madding Crowd and Northanger Abbey). He was the associate director for La Boheme on the 2009 Choir of London tour of Palestine. Recently, he directed a rehearsed reading of a new play, Last Drinks, for the Cock Tavern Theatre in Kilburn and a one-woman show, On the Cusp at The Roundhouse in Camden.
David directed Particular's productions of The Bald Prima Donna, Forsaken and The Distance and will be directing Still. He is also a co-director of The Bike Shed Theatre in Exeter.
