Fin Irwin (Producer)
Fin graduated with a BA in Drama from Exeter University in 2005. Returning to Exeter in 2006, Fin began working at Exeter College, first as a support worker then becoming an Associate Lecturer of Performing Arts in 2007. The following year he formed the idea for The Tabernacle Arts Café in Exeter which has grown over the past year to an establishing Community Interest Company. Having jumped through an array of funding and bureaucratic hoops the Arts Café has been forced onto the back burner until more funds and a suitable venue are available. Since the spring of 2009 (when the Café crumbled) Fin has been busy looking for other projects across the city. Currently working as a Producer for three theatre companies, a freelance actor and workshop facilitator, co-organiser of Wattsfest (music festival) and still Managing Director of Tabernacle Arts which is now looking to open a Community Arts Space in the Harlequins Shopping Centre. He has recently produced No Exit and Closer for Random Acts.
Fin produced Forsakenand The Distance for Particular and became a co-director in September 2009. He is also co-director of The Bike Shed Theatre in Exeter.
