Shaun McCarthy's recent plays include Collider (reading at Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal Bath, production in Oxford with Katie Read Company), No Blind Faith (Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal Bath) and Safe (Hen and Chickens, Islington, winner of Grit Productions new writing award). Other stage plays include Driving to Midnight (Actors Centre, Covent Garden), A Frail Light in the Desert, See His Face and Honest:Untouchable (all Bristol Old Vic), and London Isn't Venice (Mutiny Arts). He was lyricist on the award-winning Bollywood musical 14 Songs, 2 Weddings and a Funeral (Tamasha Theatre). Plays and serials for radio include The Aran Isles (Classical Serial BBC R4) and Fireworks (Saturday Playhouse BBC R4).
