Bobby Watson is dead. His uncle, old Bobby Watson is looking after the son of Bobby Watson, the father of the Bobby Watson who just died. Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Martin seem to recognise each other and it is quite possible that it was in bed last night. A fireman is out of work due to a lack of fires. And the maid is just a maid.

Eugene Ionesco's The Bald Prima Donna was performed in Stratford-upon-Avon, Taunton and Lyme Regis, before a week long run at The Hourglass in Exeter.
